Who we are

Siraya Jewels is a proprietorship registered in India under GSTIN 27ANSPV6237H2Z7, with its principal place of business at 501, 5th Floor, Premalaya, Sion Trombay Road, Deonar, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400088, India. In this policy, “we” and “us” refer to Siraya Jewels. We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described below.

What this website collects

The public pages of this website collect no personal data. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, we do not use cookies on the public pages, and there is no contact form that transmits your details.

A separate, passcode-protected area of this site is used by our own staff to view stock and pricing during store hours. It sets a single session cookie to keep a staff device signed in. It is not accessible to the public and holds no customer data.

Data we collect when you contact us

If you contact us by phone, email, WhatsApp or in person, we may collect and retain:

• your name and contact details, including your phone number;
• the content of your enquiry and our correspondence with you;
• order details — the pieces discussed, measurements, customisation notes and delivery arrangements;
• invoicing and tax details we are required to record under Indian tax law.

WhatsApp communications

We use WhatsApp, a service provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to answer customer enquiries and to send updates about orders you have placed with us — for example confirmation, readiness for collection, and delivery status.

We message you on WhatsApp only where you have contacted us first or have given us your number for this purpose. We send promotional or marketing messages only with your prior opt-in consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP to any such message, or by telling us in writing. Withdrawing consent for marketing does not stop service messages about an order already in progress.

Messages sent over WhatsApp are handled by Meta in accordance with its own privacy policy, and are subject to WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption. We retain WhatsApp conversations only for as long as needed to service your enquiry or order and to meet our record-keeping obligations. We do not use the contents of your messages for advertising, and we do not sell your data.

Why we use your data

We use personal data to:

• respond to enquiries and provide quotations;
• fulfil, service and deliver orders;
• issue invoices and comply with tax and accounting obligations;
• send marketing messages, where you have opted in.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with parties who help us run the business — such as delivery partners, payment providers, our accountants, and the messaging platform used to reach you — and only to the extent they need it. We also disclose data where we are required to by law or by a competent authority.

Retention

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to serve you, and transaction and tax records for the period required under applicable Indian law. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it where we are not required to keep it, withdraw a consent you have given, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. You may also raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.

Security

We apply reasonable security safeguards to the personal data in our care. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take steps to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure.

Children

Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly process the personal data of a child without verifiable parental consent.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
